I constantly look for what catches my eye; seeing beauty everywhere, looking for inspiration in everything. Studying Public Communication and Marketing has nurtured my fine eye for detail in many ways: in writing, editing, photography, drawing, even how I dress myself. I love fine-tuning something to be just right, especially if I’m playing with word choice, fonts, or an aesthetic element in my writing.
I love imparting knowledge to others, whether it’s coverage of an event in town, fashion mishap solutions, DIY project tidbits, fun recipe ideas, or news of an up and coming designer. I love to spread the word about simple solutions with a creative twist to ensure that everyone sees beauty, no matter how small the significance. help people see the beauty in themselves by giving them confidence through tips on what they wear, what they eat, and the beauty that can come from resourcefulness.
As an ambitious senior at American University, I am always looking for new outlets to lend my written voice. My spare time is filled with pinning the latest fashion show on Pinterest, trying out a new vegan recipe, attending the latest art exhibit nearby, or heading downtown to scope out the subject of my next photograph.
